The Vision of  THE BRIDGE CHURCH is simply put –

It a recent, what we would call, vision setting morning in Sunday the 14th of Feburary Pastor Colin spoke on what he believed God's pathway for us as church for the next coming year.  

Though the undernoted statements are still true and are very much a very broad base to work the PDF document below brings a refinement to the vision of The Bridge Church in Neath.

All the activities, administrations, ministries and outreach of THE BRIDGE CHURCH, work toward through the mission statement of ‘Bringing people from where they are to where God wants them to be’ . Individuals and families find that there is something for everyone in THE BRIDGE CHURCH.

We constantly seek to cater for all age groups both Spiritually and Socially.

 

SUNDAY

AM & PM   - Praise and Worship, Communion and Bible-Teaching.  Children’s Church.

 

 

WEEKLY

Care-Groups.

Prayer Ministry.

Monthly emphasis on Overseas Missions.

 

And other activities as announced.

 

CHURCH MINISTRIES

We encourage all at THE BRIDGE CHURCH, to participate in all the church activities and ministries. We recognise the importance of identifying and releasing callings, gifts, talents and willing hearts. Some of the areas for involvement are as follows:

Worship Group.  Leading/Singing/Instrument playing.

PA Desk.

Voluntary Work in –  Children’s Church, and Creche, etc:

Administration.   The Church Office.

Treasury. Finance/Book-keeping.

Community Outreach.

 

EVANGELISM - We seek to reach people for Christ using cultrurally relavate ways

 

MAINTENANCE -  Care-taking/Painting.

 

OUTREACH AND MISSION.

THE BRIDGE CHURCH has a great vision for it’s Community, Town and Overseas. Indeed, for all people who need to know God’s Love and power in their lives.

 

COMMUNITY

THE BRIDGE CHURCH is seeking to be very active in bridge-building from the church, into the community and town. Plans for such activities are already being implemented

THE BRIDGE CHURCH engages in other forms of evangelism, seeking to bring men, women and children to a life changing experience through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

TOWN

The THE BRIDGE CHURCH is well known in the Town of Neath, and has a well respected reputation for being friendly, forward looking, balanced, and faithful to Biblical Truth.  THE BRIDGE CHURCH has a great vision for Neath, and works closely with many other evangelical and charismatic churches within the city, largely in Prayer, but also in joining together for evangelism.

 

OVERSEAS

As part of the Apostolic Church UK; THE BRIDGE CHURCH has a large international vision and is involved in a vast overseas network of Apostolic Churches and missions.  THE BRIDGE CHURCH supports various countries both financially and in prayer.  News of progress, and matters for prayer are circulated at the beginning of each month for the Care-Groups to Pray and a special Overseas Missions Offering is taken on the first Sunday morning of each month.

 

 

PRAYER

The BRIDGE CHURCH recognises the vital ingredient to it’s ministry is that of prayer. Every member is rigorously encouraged to maintain a life of prayer, personally, privately and persistently.

Times of prayer together are essential to our role in the Community, City, Country and Overseas.

Organised times for corporate prayer are regularly arranged. These include, Half-nights of prayer, Sundays of Prayer and Fasting, Week-Long Fasts.   Prayer Triplets, Partners, and the Prayer Chain are ongoing opportunities.

 

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES

At THE BRIDGE CHURCH, women’s ministries are encouraged and provided for. These include, preaching, leading services, leading home-groups, leading worship, serving on the Leadership Team, counselling, praying for the sick, laying on of hands, exercising spiritual gifts and administering Communion.
